LOVE AS AN ACT OF RESISTANCE // new work on canvas, reworking a classic from late last year, a collaborative work, which features a poem from Lara Haworth along the edges of the piece (4cm deep, 101cm high x 76cm wide). The poem is lovingly typed on my typewriter, signed and dated by writer Lara Haworth and included in a little love letter on the back of the canvas (pictured) and reads:

Eventually outside the café bar

I cannot resist telling you I

Once had a life that was only air

A boiled quality, as phantom

As spilled gas on the street

A life where you were not

There and now I cannot resist

You, this café bar, this dog,

With his head in his hands,

This light, a wet coin, your

Hand in my hands.

The piece includes a delivery charge for delivery in person, in the London area. If you’re not in London, that’s totally fine, but I need to figure out where you are and add postage so please get in touch! There is, as always, only ONE of these, no two are ever the same! xxx
